The first company I started out with, I stayed out with a trainer for 4 weeks but wow I cant imagine have to go back out for another 4 weeks. That is a little bit too much time out with a trainer. Shouldnt be no more than 4 weeks.

Your a MORON, you can't even quote correctly no wonder you can't understand the facts....

First off, it was 10 companies in 12 years; most of the 10 companies were in the first 3 years of trucking....and the longest I had stayed with any one trucking job back then was for no longer then 10 months....

I'm sure I have more practical experience then you my friend and even if you have more time on the road or more miles, I can guarantee you of this, your intellect will NOT come close to mine, so keep trying.....

J.B.S. is a great company and I'm glad they gave me a shot...last job I had was there for 5 years....

    Try again... LOL!!! :biggrin_25514:

Oh, and I never said I had to go out with a trainer.... I was solo from day one because I can drive.

The other guy that said 4 weeks should be max on training must be a newbie as any experienced driver knows that you don't learn anything in 8 weeks, let alone 4......

Stupidity runs rampant in this industry...Thanks for making my point for me...:biggrin_25514:

need to cut fleet even more ,,too many trucks around in a stalled over flooded mkt already and fikes now getting into it with refg div :biggrin_25524:GOD help us ..too many of us and only for your short runs ..so you don't have to pay outside carrier more on transp short runs...
    sorry JBS
    verdict,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,no good
recent mssg can be deciphered easy if you're not a typical monkey holding your steering wheel
trading in 110 trucks ---- already had about 150 sitting anyway
more JBS plant loads-----holiday season coming up more turkey/pork sales
increase driver miles----- sweet news to any driver employee but my theory is please don't quit we will need you more soon ,,to haul the short runs cheaper for us this holiday season
guarantee us 2600 miles a week plus xtra if we get them only to relinquish them if we go home for more than 2 days than our granted time off on two weeks min.. take that to the board coporate trucking company

Personal thought do not work for Jbs Carriers unless you like a different dispatcher every couple of months, and god for bid if you a medical problem (like sleep apnea they will do their best to make you quit or fire you). Take for example was written up for refusing to do a load, some that day was making me extremely tired, the next day took truck to repair shop and found out that i had a exhaust leak coming in the cab if the truck and was fired based on that load because i refused to drive the truck in LA area with a exhaust leak. also most of the people are x crst people also.

because of them and what every the put on psp report i can not find a company that will hire me (almost two months looking). You can thank JBS carriers for putting another driver out of the truck driving career that has 9.5 year of driving and no accident or speeding

If you have documentation of exhaust leak from shop & it's on the qualcomm... Then get a lawyer.

JBS is good company. Normal BS stuff that happends in trucking but all in all good company. I have full benfits for 4 kids and a wife it cost me 144. a month that includes dental and vision. I get around 3k miles a week and when I don't I'll get layover pay.
