Most companies don't pay for holidays. Because, of course, truckers are not human beings unlike mighty dispatchers and other office personnel who posses that rare nowadays gift of typing really fast and talking on the phone with confidence. Don't be surprised there.
Also, it is customary in the industry to promise more and pay less. I've talked to Gardner at some point and vividly remember their recruiter depressed and sad and not even trying to recruit. She informed me of their silly low compensation with the tone clearly indicating she has very little hope to recruit anyone but a guy fresh out of jail or madmen's house:biggrin_25525: If even their recruiter has no faith in pay...
Good thing is that truckers are high demand right now. Don't wait till February, run while you can and be safe:biggrin_255:

Categorized under Trucking, our records show it was established in 1974 and incorporated in California, current estimates show this company has an annual revenue of $20 to 50 million

Sometimes a bad job is better than no job, I only feel this way when my pocket is empty.
