Here is an overview of my MVR:
Failed to answer summons suspension from 2/10 to 3/10:biggrin_25510:
Failure to answer summons suspension 5/1/10 to 5/19/10:biggrin_25510:
And from 5/2004 to 9/2007 my license was suspended for child support.I am looking to get into trucking but was turned down by Driver's solutions and CRE.Are there any companies that would be willing to hire me.Or should I pack it in and try a different trade

This is just my opinion, but I would say to try something else and at least get some time where you have kept a license without losing it.

Insurance companies always wonder why your license was suspended, and some don't care about an explanation.

Basically admitted guilt, by not answering the summons (not appearing for court), to whatever allegations were made against him in a complaint and a judgement was entered as requested by the court. Obviously the judgement was to suspend his license.

    Megadeth rules!

The courts can be brutal if you don't play by their rules. Good luck to you.

I would certainly try a different trade. Your ods of getting into this industry are quite slim. Bear in mind, that insurance companies dictate nearly everything and those suspensions will stick out like an approach beacon at LaGuardia.

Two FTAs (failure to appear) and a nonsupport. You have shown with those two very recent ones that your license doesn't mean that much to you. It's the cornerstone of our trade. I'd say find something else. Trucking companies need to be confident you will not be suspended during a load and having a driver operating a vehicle under a suspended license even if the driver doesn't know about it counts huge points against a company. Nobody can afford you right now.

Good God, get it together. If there is one thing that screws you in the long run it's a failure to appear for ANYTHING.

Also NOT paying your child support is a red flag for companies. They don't want to get involved in the fact that your license may be suspended at anytime. After 24 years of marriage, I divorced my former wife who is in charge of the DMV Commercial License Program for my local county government, Child Support Division. Do I pay my support on time, EVERY-TIME ? Absolutely. It is not anyone elses responsibility to support my kids. If you are in arrears, you need to get that cleaned up, or with the push of a button, there goes your license again.

WOW!!! Sorry to put this to you so bluntly but your MVR says ALOT about your character!!! If I'm not mistaken, most of the application for driving companies will ask "how many suspensions in the last TEN years"! To have 2 in one year and then another...there is NO WAY your going to get hired on by anyone! Truckers take great pride in their license, and most actually treat having one as a priviledge...you obviously do not. If the people on this forum are able to see that, what conclusions do you think a hiring manager will come up with ??? Time to look for something else man...because there is NO WAY your getting into this industry!!! I would say good luck on finding a trucking job but I'd be lying...I don't want to share the road with a person that is so obviously irresponsible...and I'm sure many other feel the same! Your crushed "dream" is your fault and your fault alone. Sorry for the rant....but questions and people like you fire me up!:biggrin_25510:
