CRST 8 month contract...worth breaching?

I gotta ask, do they give free lube in orientation for the ### rapings they give, or do they take that out of your first check?

 

They aren't that bad but you can get better pay elsewhere. If you want to team (CRST is teams only) US Xpress pays rookies .38cpm after training. That goes up to .48 after 8 weeks if you have hazmat.

 

Some of you seem to not realize that the ones who are complaining are quitters who signed a contract.

 

i was told i would be making average of 450 a week here. my biggest check has been 130. i was suppose to be done with my 28 days about two weeks ago, but between waiting on loads and maintenance i still have a good 5000 miles to run. while sitting medical deductions are being token out which i cant cancel. some checks have been -40. i cant survive with income like this. like i told my fm nd recruiter id be happier flipping burgers. i even asked to switch to office to finish contract since i have past experience in many feilds, but no one will listen to me.. its been little over 3 months now nd im getting far behind in bills. i already have collection agencys calling me.. i was also in process of movibg to mi to necada before i came out here. they said after school i could have a week to finish moving before orientation but that ddnt happen. Now that im pretty much broke spending all my savings i dont have moneu to drive my four wheel truck nd the rest of my stuff to nevada. but even more frustrating my fleet manager wont send me to mi to get my stuff for hometime whenever that may be. only nevada where i cant do nothing without my papers and stuff... i just had it w this company. i would be okay if someone from there terminal would figure out a way o even listen to me but thy keep fowarding me voicemails no one replies to. i have a lot of other companies interested in hiring me, but i hear that the contract would prevent that from happenning. if anyone finds a way please let me know

 

Vinsanity im in contract and have yet to quit. i have only heard two ppl out of the thousands of crst ppl ive met give it a good rating. i am not one of them and i would definitely tell anyone looking into crst to consider other options

 

no there is not. i am from savannah and i had to go to st louis to train for crst

 

I need some help I left CRST after I got my license 2 come home due 2 a family emergency so do to my famly emergency I could not go back so I've been trying to look for other employment and I've had no luck so far but come 2 find out CRST is withholding my school information and denying to give any company my records until I pay them in full amount of my school tuition I am NOT under any 8 month contract I left before orientation so what companies will accept me for employment with getting around my school verification

 

you ines your contract the day you did orientation at the school. My advice to you is go back and drive 8 more months then you can leave. Family emergency and can't continue you say? Then it will just go on your credit report in the form of a $5000 judgement. Besides that, you will not get a good driving job. Worse than the bfi.

 

I was fortunate enough to be represented by a class action lawsuit that dismissed my contract with CRST. I first received a letter from the law firm representing the class, and then another letter a couple of months later from a bill collector who informed me that the case was closed and he'd be reporting positive to the 3 major bureaus. That same month CRST logged me out of their system and gave my info to another company per my request. They've been very cooperative, I'm pleased. Have an attorney double check the contract you signed, you may be able to get out of it.

 

try paying a mortgage on 300 a week.you would starve to death.
