Do they "Take a licking and keep on ticking" ??? Oh God, I couldn't help that one ...

 

I got a call from Timex today and this is what I was told, OTR 48 and Canada, 3800 to 4200 a week, out 2 weeks home 2 ( take home time where I want) 2007 Volvos and Freightliners, .37cpm, 1 day orientation, I have to get myself to Chicago, paid weekly, some trucks governed at 68 some are not and no idle policy. So how true is this or is it to good to be true?

 

Im new to all this csa stuff but there scores dont look good or am I looking at it wrong?

 

Put it this way: they are WAY over the threshold of Hours of Service violations.

 

Ok to make a long story short I had a job lined up, waited 2 weeks for the guy to get the truck out of shop. I was in contact with him and then he stopped returning my calls so Im moving on and this company will hire me, so is it the company running hot or is the drivers doing it? There not a big company.
