No I'm not with OWL. I'm with BRW. I run regional plus so there is no sliding pay scale. The sliding pay scale is only for the local day cab guys. Something like .40cpm under 400 miles then .36 for 600 miles or something like that. I ran it for about 6 months and didn't care for it. Regional and regional plus is where it is at. 1 load a day. Avg 500-600 miles a day so you're home every night and off every weekend. I was averaging 3400mi/week regional and just recently moved to regional plus. They run just slightly farther. -
Current Osborn driver. We were bought out by Celadon. So we are getting ProStars. I already have mine. As for the company, as was previously stated, it is what you make of it. I've certainly worked for worse. I'm home every weekend. I run 2400-2600 miles LEGALLY every week. I have a good relationship with my FM. I will say those old trucks are really bad. They are scheduled to be completely phased out by July 1. Glad I'm out of mine!
Tgrfan89 Thanks this. -
I just couldn't take it anymore. I now have a 2014 prostar. Plus more money/mi. And the benefits really make it a much better deal all around. I had the best dispatcher at Osborn. He would give me whatever I asked for and I'd pull whatever he needed. Great guy out of Montgomery. But glad to be gone. Good luck. -

Wow.... You know if it was a bad company when it improves after a buyout. A lot of times companies get worse after getting sold.
