Unfortunately, this may not be fertile recruiting ground, because there are people who have enough experience and knowledge of the business to separate the chaff from the wheat. And we tend to try and keep the newbies out of harms way. |

| Re: Bad-Boy JB Hunt Steals CRST Newbie Contract Drivers Quote:
The fact that CRST went whining to a judge to ask for help in forcing their indentured servants into staying speaks volumes about CRST's business policies and the fact that all of these drivers were so eager to go to JB Hunt just might be an indication that JB Hunt cares about its drivers enough to treat them fairly and with the dignity they deserve. And I know of no instance where a "cold call" was placed to a driver's lounge in a CRST terminal. JB Hunt recruiter's calls are placed by an automated dialer that is completely computerized and places it's calls from calling lists. |

| Re: Bad-Boy JB Hunt Fires and Blacklists Why would JB Hunt spend so much time and go to so much trouble just to keep you from getting a few hundred dollars worth of unemployment? Their legal expenses alone would have been in the thousands, not to mention travel, hotels, etc. Are you sure you are telling us everything? |

I am a JB Hunt recruiter and I am proud of the company I work for and the job that I do. I have seen a lot of driver's lives changed for the better. I have also seen some lease purchase drivers fail because they didn't have the self dicipline to treat this as a small business. Or they couldn't get past the company driver mentality or because they just couldn't keep that left had door closed. It isn't a perfect world, but this is an outstanding opportunity for the driver who wants to try his hand at being his own boss and making a whole lot more money. Quote:

| No No No! He's welcome here. In fact, if we can get some deprogrammers in on this, I think we can still save him. But it's going to take some effort. He's been brainwashed, and they did a darn fine job of it. In all seriousness, I welcome others than just drivers, but he is going to have to temper his comments with a dose of reality. |

But that leasing program discussed on the radio is a fast way to the poorhouse, and not something that anyone should get into. It simply has too many holes in it as described on the radio in the ads. Maybe they have better financial deals available, but that is not what they were announcing on the radio. It was a very specific set of numbers, and it's even at odds with the numbers that they are offering on their web site. |

I am in no way interested in a job. I have already been contacted by JBH and they cannot match anywhere close to what I make now. I am just curious as I was into a lease scam from another company one time......and the payments on a 2003 with 300,000 avg. miles were over $700.00 a week. Mind you this was everything except for fuel. But it was still WAY too much. I think the recruiter's of all these company's listed in the Report a BAD Trucking Company here should become member's here and then maybe they could clean some of the lie's that are being told to these new driver's up. Before it ends up being told on here anyway's. |

| Payments Typically, the payments on the 2005 models are around 475 - 525 a week. It all depends on the mileage of the truck. (This is for a 3 year term) Sorry to hear you got ripped off like that. 700 bucks is pretty steep for a 2003 even with other expenses figured in. It sounds a bit like some of the horror stories I have heard from other drivers who tried that little venture with Prime. I agree with you. I would love to see drivers and recruiters get together and put some of the ugly rumors to rest, or, if it is true, at least be able to explain it. I still talk to owner operators who think that JB Hunt will put a governor on their truck or that our drivers have to wear uniforms. There is so much misinformation floating around, you would laugh out loud at some of the things I have been told.
