Just about like clock work JB Hunt calls our house and wants to offer DH a job....the first zillion times I was polite and when one of the guys offered to put me thru to a different area where our number could/would be removed from their system I put up with another 10 minutes on the line getting that done.....STILL they call. I have told them DH is employed and will not drive for them....STILL they call.....They call to offer him a lease, they call to offer him otr......and when I tell them NOT to call again they just laugh and say well it's not illegal and we will call again...and they do at least 3 times a week. The last time they called, yesterday I very calmly told the man on the other end that DH was NOT interested, and that we were requesting once again they quit calling....again I was put thru to the people that are supposed to take our info off their system and not 5 minutes later.....they called again. This time I told them I was going to start recording everytime they called and turn them in for harassment....this guy just laughed and said they could call me 10 times aday if they wanted. I am at my wits end with these people...any suggestions???

They did basicaly the same thing to me. What I did was I told them that I am now working on an account that you lost ( GP Toledo Oregon) and that I know of at least two other accounts that you lost recently in the region, so were are you going to put me to work at? When there was no answer I hung up and if I had a call from with an area code from the area ( I have caller ID) I hung up and if they snuck one through on me, as soon as they id'd rhem self as from JB I would say I'm not interested and hung up. They finaly got the message and stopped calling.

are you able to talk to your local phone provider and request the number they are calling you from blocked?

Tell them he was arrested for a DUI.

When I got tired of MCI calling me I told them I was the VP of AT&T.

Ask him of he's been born again; offer to pray with him.

Invite him to come to town and take you both out to dinner.

Ask him if he can hold a minute. Then put the phone down and go sit on the porch.

Ask him if this is a joke because hubby was killed last week.

They have done the same thing to us. Them telling you they'll take you off their calling list.Not gonna happen.Aligator... your responses are great, lmao. I'll have to remember them the next time they call.All I could think of was to tell them he don't drive anymore.

They call me all the time too. Last one was for a 52k a year job. Absolute BS in my opinion.

For all you people that still have a modem installed in your computer, but have evolved to using high speed, I have a nice use for that modem, and it is a solution to your problem. I use it religiously, and it works GREAT!! It's easy to add numbers to be blocked.

Yep....somehow, JB Hunt had mine as well, and they are relentless once they get a driver's number for hounding the #### out of them...
