So be aware of where you post your resumee you might end up a victim of JBH's telemarketing loop.
You found the same site I did, when I was looking around for a change last December (I dropped the Haz-Mat endorsement and had to leave my previous employer). Boy was that a mistake, but it did result in me getting some very enlightening and revealing information on JB Hunt. The results are posted in another thread in this section.

And yes, I have been bombarded by call after call. I have an expensive phone system, and one that was malfunctioning or not secure enough, because those jerks at JB Hunt actually got around traps that were supposed to reject their calls. That has been fixed since then, but I am serious as a heart attack; I was getting as high as thirty calls from them a week at one point, and all as a result of experiment with that particular site.

I kinda like the bathroom idea posted somewhere on here for dealing with such people.

Don't they get money from the government for running rookies through their school?

Re: JB Hunt

Another one showed up a while back calling himself "Dowserdave". He even said his real name was Dave Purdy. He didn't stay long.

Yeah...

Yeah, Mack, they supposedly DO, but this is only one reason we see what we see. There is a lot more to this than we think. I just read the article on turnover someone else referred to in another post, and I had to laugh. It's obviously bogus. It was the same ol' game--A big-wig company insider will cry about how his company is hurting for drivers when a reporter sticks a microphone under his nose while at the same moment another insider at that same company is kicking drivers around so hard at least some of those drivers quit.

There is definitely something odd going on with this turnover issue. Somehow....somehow the companies are benefiting from drivers quitting. I say this because we both know raw, unchecked turnover is a problem too expensive to allow to run rampant. This means what we see HAS to be planned. But why?

How are the companies benefitting from turnover? That's the million-dollar question, brother.

No, my hometown's nowhere in sight

You're right

Love pissing off those trucking company insiders.

Re: JB Hunt

Most of our recruiters are still here on this site.....we like reading it for entertainment. Some of your posts are just funny. Any recruiter that posts here will have the same IP if we are at work. "big dawg" is no longer with us.

Re: JB Hunt Recruiting Website?

Its not hard to get removed from the calling list. Believe it or not, none of use recruiters want to call someone who wastes our time. Ready for the big secret to get removed????? Write this down! Just ask to be removed. We have a removal group of people whose only job is to remove people and wrong numbers. Sorry, cussing and screaming "remove me from your list" and hanging up doesnt work. The second you hang up, your name and info disappears from my screen and I have no way of getting it back or removing you. Like i said, just ask nicely and I will remove you. Now, with that said, I am a recruiter....if you say "please remove me"...I might ask you why. But in the end, You want to be removed, I will remove you. Now, there is always a chance that we might get ahold of your name again, and it might go back in the system. If that happens you might have to call again to have yourself removed again.
As far as other websites for truck drivers apps. Yes, many of us recruiters have those. We do this independantly for leads and pay for them with our own money. Filling out those apps will not get you into our system for all recruiters to call you. I am NOT going to spend 400 or 500 bucks a month for leads and have all of our recruiters call them. If you fill at an app on one of those sites, the only person thats going to call you is the recruiter who runs that site.

Re: JB Hunt Recruiting Website?

Not true!!! WE had them supposedly remove us from their call list.(2) It doesn't happen. I don't know why they insist on calling people that don't want to work for them. Its a waste of time and money.
I would'nt waste my Vauleable time playing games with them.
If this is just 1 recruiters site ,WHY is it claiming to be some thing else?

Turbo.... Can you give us a hint, which site you are refering to? So we can all stay clear of it!

Re: JB Hunt Recruiting Website?

Of course its true......like I said, we have people whose only jobs is to remove you from our lists. Now, with that said, we send 100s to those people a week......sometimes it takes a week or so. Another thing that can happen occasionally. Sometime you are in our system multiple times. Usually the removal group will catch that. Sometime one or two slips by.
Like i said. Why would I want to keep calling someone I cant hire? The removal group was created because we recruiters asked for it. Im paid to hire drivers....im not paid a dime to waste my time calling someone I cant hire.
I dont know what site you are talking about.....nor if it belongs to one of our recruiters. You can pretty much tell which ones belong to JB hunt recruiters, ( although it might not say Jb hunt). Now, there are many recruiting websites out there who sell leads to recruiters from many companies. Yes, you might get a lot of calls from those from us because we have a huge recruiting dept and a lot of recruiters pay for those services. Once again, Im not going to pay 400 bucks a month for leads and put them into our system for all of our recruiters to call.
Tell us what website you all are talking about and I will be happy to tell you if its one of ours.
