Steriotype? Every recuiter that has called here or if I want to be amused I call them (JBH) say the same thing. Can anyone say reading from a script? Recuiters may not bad mouth a driver but they sure bad mouth other trucking companies if it's in their best interest to talk someone into leaving that company to come over to them. As far as first hand knowledge of JBH and their practices go all I can say is we have been there and done that and have the T-shirt to prove it! JBH never in a million years! We are now just seeing daylight after almost becoming bankrupt. Being a company driver is bad enough but being insnared in their lease purchase program is a financial death sentence.

Cyber was pulled into it by Me's desperate act of discrediting this forum and or the mods we have. He failed. He throw any accusation out he could and it just showed him for what he is. If he succeeded in pulling anyone into the web of JBH's deceite I feel for that person but they will find out on their own what has been said about the actual experience a driver has with JBH is far different than the spheel a recuiter gives out.

I still believe that the OOIDA is the best friend a driver ever has had, however, as you clearly point out, the OOIDA cannot help every individual driver in all cases. In you first case where the carrier did not pay as required, I can only express my sympathy and suggest that anyone working for themselves has to know all the laws, regulations and rules before contracting a job. It sounds like the OOIDA did help a little, but could not get the carrier to act more quickly on the matter. In the second case, I do not know how you can hold the OOIDA responsible in any way for the RIGMASTER equipment failure, they only printed paid advertising for RIGMASTER and had no other involvement. Blaming the OOIDA in the second case would be like blaming a TV station or a newspaper for printing or televising an advertisement where the advertised services rendered or merchandise purchased by you went bad. In these cases the OOIDA, TV station or newspaper are just the "paid messengers" for the company who is advertising the products or servcies. In any case, it sounds like you still belong to the OOIDA and you should be commended for that. You have been though a lot. I hope your luck has changed for the better.

Hell, that's nothing. I read somewhere on here that JB's recruiters have even went so far as placing calls to CRST's breakrooms.

OK Whispers 65233.But what I am trying to figure out is this.My wife has never driven a big truck, has no CDL,and has no qualifications for trucking. However she is a great quilter, which has absolutly nothing to do with driving a truck.Yet the recruiters at JB keep trying to hire her, promising big money,(mileage pay),nice dedicated runs etc. This is why I posted the ??? after JBH doesnt hire newbies.I would never consider a career with JB.I did get tangled up with Swift for a short time, and they are evidently the same caliber co.as JB.The old saying is,you cant teach an old dog new tricks, isnt always true.I am an old dog who quickly learned to get away from Swift. Now as you know I am looking forward to running with Roehl.Hope to run into or meet your hubby out on the road.
