That pet better cost more than the truck and your life depend on it, for you to want to lease a truck just so you can bring the pet.

Does anyone know if INJUN completed the SWIFT Lease or moved posting to another sight under a different name? I am curious of the outcome...

God I know this thread is old, but for various reasons I was looking at the swift lease. Not much has changed and certainly not for the better. The added value people are complaining about is actually to cover swift's risk. They are putting their insurance and authority up, fronting the money for, a vehicle that retails for +/- 100k to someone who's in all likelihood not very credit worthy or business savvy.

Better question is why the finance charges aren't higher. Not sure why in 26 pages nobody even glossed over the financial risk swift takes.

The really scandalous thing about their lease is the added mileage penalties, but even if you leased a car from a dealership, you're going to see penalties for excess mileage.

    Zombie thread complete

To "gloss over" means to ignore or dismiss, and I think they did a pretty good job of glossing over the financial risk Swift takes. I'd do the same, because Swift takes the exact same risk with company drivers as they do with lease drivers, and the company drivers aren't making the truck payment for them.

Why not ask if any Swift lease purchase drivers have finished the contract, own their truck free and clear AND continue to haul for Swift?
