has anyone been leased to cdn logstics?

A friend of mine just told me about them... I'm going to check them out today.. What do you know?

Looks like their drivers don't know how to work a log book.

 

Do have a problem staying in the mid west.. The rate is higher there.. But the guy told me that I probably couldn't get more than about 2,000 miles a week out of there..

BTW, he sid the FSC was at .33cpm. Is that right?

 

Cheap freight # $1.15 mile fsc low too

My friend didn't last too long... Too much "good old boy" BS there, getting the good midwest stuff...

Missourri pays A lot more than Nebraska,,, Gave my friend a load, 1 mile into Nebraska, and paid him the low rate... Then screwed him on his reload that he'd already accepted.. Gave it to one of their "good ole boys"...So over to nebraska and back to Chicago for .93 CPM... Instead of the $1.05...

Not to mention the screw up on his checks... Several of CDN drivers have a problem with getting paid right. For some reason, the checks are never more than they are supposed to be.. Always less.

 

I was with cdn for almost a year.They are slow to raise the fsc.They do have lots of freight.all in bound goes back to chicago or the burbs.If you hustle you can drop trailer in the yard and they have city workers rto del.Never did midwest.those loads I would guess go to local drivers.they do have east coast freight that does pay better but they dont pay for tolls,other then bridges.I liked personal there but quit after getting a ticket for no permit which they eventually paid after I told them I would come back to work for them.But I sold my truck.If you dont give them a 30 day notice they will keep your escrow which is 2000.00.they dont have a plusses for driving for them.you will pay for your base plates and fuel taxes.there are no tire discounts.you will not use their mechanic even though they say you can for 45.00 a hr.after 4 on sunday pray that you dont need a lumper for that sunday nite load cause the 24 hr dispatch isnt there.
