Tim, take this time with werner and get your otr experiance then switch seats B4 they fire you for Safety.
Victor it is standard opperating for weener to do what you have whitnessed.
and to anybody out there who badmouths the drivers for werner shame on you, I say give your advice from wisdom they may not know why you don't like weener.
my advice if you choose werner start looking to switch seats as soon as you get 6+ months in. in the meen time don't sweat delivery time SOP. is to make you rush and do stupid things so they can terminate you if you notice your not getting that raise in your pay(safety) majority of my loads I recived where houres to days after they should have been picked up, one shipper after I rushed to get there said I was a day early, and one Con. said they didn't need it for another day.
YES WERNER SOP IS TO TREAT YOU LIKE ###### THEN DUMP YOU AS SUCH

    victorville Thanks this.

Yeah 1800 miles sounds like Aaron is your dispatcher, I know that's who caused me to quit. He can't plan anything, constant errors on delivery and pickup times, and can't get you miles. He Sure Is Swell.

PS for those trying to figure it out 1800 X .28=$504 before taxes
With pay and miles that Werner has do 6 mo and leave

I also have had a very bad experience with Werner Intl. 1st I spent 10 weeks on a trainers truck instead of the usual 6 to 8 weeks, cause my trainer would not let me get my hours in. A very controlling person, insisted that they had to put in their hours 1st which left me with either next to nothing or no hours at all to drive. I started in Dec. so I drove during the winter ice and snow which caused us to be shut down up to week a few times. My trainer would loose temper very easily and very often- yelling, slamming doors, cursing, throwing qualcom, etc. didnt learn much about the qualcom cause they did most of transactions (while driving even), then would get impatient cauz I wouldnt know what to do when I did get a chance.
Getting my assigned truck was another night mare. I spent more time in the shop than on the road. I would b in the shop for weeks at a time. No sooner would I get back on the road I would have to right back in. Gra Gar was not doing thier job. I went through 4 boards before I finally got a decent fleet manager, even then I still wasnt getting any miles. It started out good the 1st week with him, then I was put on an account that would keep sitting from 2 to 4 days waiting to get loaded and then to reload the trailer cause it was always too heavy. I would get anywhere from 700 to maybe a 1000 miles a week depending on which way I was going. I would also spend 1 to 2 days at the cons waiting to unload. My last FM did get me a better running truck, but still was spending alot of time in shop. My lowest paycheck was $95. I went broke, depleted completely my savings, my bank account stayed in over draft trying to keep my bills paid. My checks would run from 100 something to 200 maybe 300 max sometimes. My husband was not aloud to ride with me, so too much time between us was being lost as well. I only drove for 11 months, then on one home time we realized I could not afford to go back out. I went and cleaned out my truck ( which by the way they kept in the shop after I already was 3 days late getting home and missed a very important occasion with my daughter) turned in y ID and told them I was leaving and why.
I also thought I would make a decent living driving a truck, had goals, but all it did was put me in the poor house. Working close to home now not making much, but its alot more than what I was doing on the truck, not to mention the hours that one puts in. Dont know if Ill ever go back to trucing again.

I was let go, I look at my DAC today and see that they put that I hit a parked car! Now I was pulling into a parking lot and the driveway was steeper then it looked and the nose of the trailer hit the apu and damaged it. Not one other auto was involved so wth!
I went to Hire right's webpage and placed my request to get it fixed. Anyone know of a company that is looking for someone that werner as messed over?
