Stay away from WERNER ....You will get burned! Not IF, but When!
There are better Trucking Carriers by far.......you will save yourself a lot of grief, stress, frustration, and maybe you might save your career.....
WERNER has a long record of RUINING CAREERS!

how long were you with werner b4 getting into the day cab??i was with them for 7 months and well they always gave me excuses about why i couldnt go on a dedicated acct.the thing that pisses me off about it is that when i hired they told me i could go to a dedicated acct. instead i ended up teaming with no miles making 13 cents per mile......

I drive for Werner on the 48 state Anheuser Busch account. I've got no complaints with Werner, fleet manager rocks, i am able to call and shoot the ##### with my load planner...

werner

to let anyone know who is thinking of going to werner, im almost done with training ,went to thier school and called about getting a truck and they have NO openings so i will be stuck without a job woring for them and will now probably have to pay for the schooling ,thank God i was able to find a job hauling fertilizer out of a local elavater for a while . i was told that werner gets paid by the feds for every worker they train so they make moeny doing that and dont have to worry about giving you a job

same situations seems like ,industry standard ??

Why do new people in the trucking industry get treated like they do?
because they can.(So the office people think.)
There are many trucking ads focused at younger or umemployed etc.
So there is a revolving door not a swinging door.
That is the attitude...???????/
If you quit get fired there is going to be 25 to 30 more to take your
place. I have noticed trucking co. that take students get about the
same like complants..
just my view,,or am i looking at it wrong??

What to expect: Expect to do alot of sitting and waiting! My b/f bought home a paycheck of $17.56. He has been driving the same truck for over 300,000 miles and they will not give him another one!
