Well, like I said, I wish you better success than we had! Btw, I'm a truckers wife and I hated having to see my husband deal with such crap plus having to deal with it myself on almost a daily basis!! Good luck with all that.

Don't much about the company other than they have a pretty good truck wash that I have used a while back.

To start with, I do not believe the driver has five years experience...I have almost 30 and I am here at Evans now going thru orientation. One has to wonder about these postings when they see that all the drivers I have met and talked to in the last three days, all seem pretty happy and content. There are just some drivers, or shall I say, "steering wheel holders" who you can not please no matter what you do. At this point I am very happy with my decision. Keep following my post and I will keep y'all informed as I go.

I can not believe you people are talking about the same Company that I just completed my orientation with today. They issued my truck, a new Prostar with built in refridgerator, APU, and all the bells and whistles....a Beautiful Truck but they are governed at 68MPH. I am just waiting for my drug test to come back and I will be back on the road again.
Everybody I have met here seems very helpful, very family orientated, very willing to go out of their way for you. Now, if this place was so bad, the people were so mean and screwing the drivers every chance they got, why is it that "ALL" of the drivers I have met here (about 20) are so happy?
I started blogging here the day I started orientation and I will continue as I go down the road. From my own Personal experience, Oscar has kept true to his word every step of the way and everybody I met there really made me feel welcome. This whole orientation has been a refreshing experience. If anyone has any personal questions to ask me you can feel free to contact me direct at davepeck@yahoo.com

My truck works very much like it should..I own it and keep it in good condition..Evans has a truck wash that is open to the public. The few times that I have used it, I was satisfied with the job done. Other than that, I know nothing about this company.

Well, I can just share our experience with this company. The truck my husband got was thick with nicotine, had an air leak, spent numerous hours in the shop, had a shotty apu among a long list of other things. And that's just the equipment. This particular thread is about how evans is a bad company. If that offends you, you can start one about how good they are. I don't know how their otr drivers are treated but the five that were hired for a dedicated run is now down to one because of their crappy business ethics, lies, etc. Drivers are the heart and soul of a trucking company and if you can't treat them right, don't expect them to do a good job. Driving is hard enough without being lied to and stolen from!!!!

I would like to clarify that the problem with evans' butler service department lies in the hands of upper management, they flat out refuse to let the technicians do alot of repairs, the techs have to get approval for everything, and if it costs money the answer is usually NO!!!. In Corsica they don't have deal with upper management, however the truck mechanics in butler are better,(ask 158L about his motor) they are just prevented by management from doing certain repairs. there is also no communication in the shop, they will pull a truck in and not tell the tech that it has already been diagnosed and parts are there for it, so they waste time re-diagnosing the same things. i could go on and on but I will stop for now.
