After about 6 years I finally found myself at a good small company. Still here to this day as a matter of fact. The same guys that slowed up and looked at me funny in my big orange truck still slow up and look at me funny in my anonymous white Peterbilt. They are just looking at a reflection of their miserable dismal pathetic lives in my ultra clean paint I guess.

It's not the guys that are learning thus keeping these crap companies in business. It's these hilarious mega junk carrier cheerleaders that I laugh at. Yea who want to make more money and be home on a regular basis? Yea not you there in the orange socks.

Eh I work for a big company, and have made between 1k and 1300 5 of the last 8 weeks with the lowest being 500ish and I took 3 days off that week. its what you make of it. It you are a good driver youll get noticed and youll get better treatment. If youre a steering wheel holder that spends more time at a truckstop/casino/stripjoint than you do on the road then youll get noticed for that too. and treated accordingly.

But what about those so called "drivers" that still up to this day after getting experience still drive for less then $600.

Well, ya know, not everyone has a perfect driving record, or a perfect past, or a perfect life. Mega Carriers are sometimes the one and only resort when it comes to a driving job.

I guess I'm one of those "who drive for less than $600.00". Most weeks my checks are right at $600.00 take home weekly. Some weeks less.
But I'm home nightly, I work hard, but don't bust my arse, I drive decent equipment, I like what I'm doing. Hope I don't make your list.....

Ok, what is "job security" worth, when you can't pay your bills and starve on the road?

That company needs to be named and shamed.

    Or tar and feathered.
