Think twice before signing on to Mercer Trans. in Louisville,Ky

So.... How long were you with Mercer?

 

Sorry, there's greener pastures ahead. It can only get better when you found bottom. Finally an older driver admits there are rip off companies out there. Most blame the newbies that it's their fault.

 

I got sick with an infection that caused me to literally be hospitalized over for a week. I was late three times during this episode. Healed up with antibiotics for a week thru IV and pill form. Pulled two loads on time, sat in Houston for a week waiting on another, booked a load and was told I was not allowed to load. Next day, got a call from Len Dunham, lease cancelled, and to turn trailer in. Informed Len I was sick for those late loads, he played stupid as USUAL and said he didnt care, that it was effective immediately, and that he knew nothing about me being sick and hospitalized. Funny thing, I had to fax a doctors release to go back to work. This is Mercer for ya!! Beware O/O of leasing onto this company. No wonder they cant keep anyone. I dont need any rhetoric from anyone. Its their pattern of doing business so I have learned later.

 

Kind of hard to decipher

 

Sad to hear that , but not really a surprise, not anymore. I was leased there many, many moons ago, truck number 3176, and i made good money. My travel agent pissed off mgt. got reassigned and my money went into the toilet. All really boils down to people no matter where you are.Hard to find good ones in this business anymore.

I had Len tell me that I needed to lower my expectations at Mercer. I lasted about 7 months, I got very quickly tired of the good ole boy system and Mercer trying to run my truck like a company truck. My Truck Number was 14302. I politely informed them that I did not need their BS and I pulled my truck and trailer..

 

I was thinking about going there is it a good place or not

 

Dont waste your time. They are sooooo full of BS it isnt funny. They blow smoke up your ##### and hand you a bill for it. When they want there trailer back, they will attempt to get you thru Louisville, and if those attempts fail,, they will simply make you set (starve) and then send you a bill for what they demand you pay them. This of course after they cancel your lease, if you have one, at their own discretion. Didnt see this coming myself. Then I found out that Len Dunham is so full of ####, and suffers with inverted cranial rectum syndrome so often. Its a wonder he can wipe his own ### without assistance.
