    Interesting update (2014 post).
I know first hand RRTS bought/acquired EFS 8/13/12. RRTS amplified the fact EFS had overgrown their capability (business was blessing), the Kenosha terminal staff were unable to cope with the change.

Ive experienced three trucking mergers elsewhere prior to joining EFS.
Definately a bit challenging/adjusting but not even near the horrifying operation at EFS.

i observed drivers/dock personnel, at all three locations work inhumane hours, freight loads, just to be burnt out and quit or we're terminated.

In my career (dispatched, billing clerk, truck shop breakdown clerk) I experienced challenges, NONE that compared to the horro in every category at EFS/RRTS.

After I resigned, I ran into a few former drivers and they stated the same adversities all have posted on this thread supporting my experience.

I advise any drivers don't be fooled by their hourly wage (#### benefits) RUN!

Sounds like a toxic place to work ,pumping fear into the driving force is a form of manipulation so without even mentioning the policies of the company ,we can all be rest assured the policies are cowardly & self serving ,for example the cost of healthcare insurance will be very high ,why ? you ask because the insurance company has cut the upper management a great deal on their own healthcare cost at the expense of rest of the work force and if anyone dares to question them or stick up for themselves in any situation ,they will be starved out or harassed until that person quits or is
fired ......i say " we can all " be rest assured because this is human nature ...men have become lovers of themselves

Thank you for your insight/empathy Superflow.

I don't normally "gripe" nor have I ever posted on any blog in my life.

But I felt compelled to reply to warn drivers, as I have high regard for drivers, so they realize they have the skills and dedication to choose elsewhere.

I personally am still simmering adverse feelings as I planned to be with EFS long term and it turned out to be the biggest nightmare I've ever endured professionally and personally.

It's a shame because they have the strength and dynamics to be great.

Respectful and safe driving wishes to all drivers who read this. ;)
