I'm not with Celadon, but I get really sick of people making this excuse:

"if you like being lost looking for the customer. because, celadon refuse to give you a good phone number, adress or directions. you might be a celadon driver"

A long time ago, I started getting my own information when I either got bad (old) info, since the shipper had moved or whatever, or the DM just wouldn't get me the info - with my laptop and smart phone, I PROMISE I can find any place I need to... I just google it with the info I have, and get my own directions - NOBODY slows me down.

I don't count on anybody for anything. All the company needs to give me is the loads, which they can't seem to get that right, but that's another discussion. I agree with you Ronin. I make many phone calls a day because I know more of whats going on then the compnay does and also can anticipate more than they ever could.

Most times the BOL straightens out any delivery info. problems.

Right, delivery is easier than the pickup - I can't count how many lazy, dumb arses I've seen and heard complain that they can't deliver or pickup because they didn't get directions over the qualcomm.

I can't think of a single time in the last 3 years where I've used qualcomm directions.

Ronin it is called needing their hand held at all times. They don't know how to get anything on their own.

Right, agreed - but they're rowdy and unprofessional about it - it's the company's fault! It's not my fault! Waaaa!
