You say they operate illegally. Other than what is apparently violations of "truth in leasing", what do you mean by "operate illegally"?

I was leased to megatrux and what a joke. Major breaches of contract... The new contract just came out and the safety director steve renshaw is saying no more split fuel in orientation and then Lil Dictator- Chuck Pelle decides he can do what he wants and sit u if you don't still want to split fuel. He has no people skills and is continuously running drivers off. They try and charge the driver back for everything from trailer repairs to repower charges. None of thesActually, he and his brother KC have no respect for a driver. Karen Pelle needs to take control of her company back b4 there is no company left. The deductions are crazy and they have two weeks hold back on their pay. They claim there is no charge for plates first year and the money you pay in goes for the following years plates but when you quit they don't give you your plate reserve. I advise everyone looking into this outfit to stay away. They are based outta Ft. Wayne IN but operate outta Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. They have no Intrastate Authority in California, so if u unload in Northern Ca then you have to deadhead back south. Their CSA rating is terrible and notices just came in mail saying their prepass has been turned off. I would be more than happy to sign up for the class action.

yep.... settlements being held back 2-3 wks, my last settlement after leaving in good terms was held over a month. what more could you ask for. Karen is good people, the others mentioned... sad . Every employee there should have a backup plan with this place.

I worked for megatrux, back when it was small, and just starting. Back then it was a decent company to pull for. But as one said. Ever since Ms Karen let her two brainless wonders take over. They have destroyed the company.I cant think of a bad thing to say about Karen. But on the other hand nothing good about her boys.In the day,I made serious money with them. But 90% was done with complete disregard for safety. This is why the company wants mostly hispanic drivers who just dont care.As for the pay. Well I promise,my wife kept them on there toes, when it came to settlements. They made so many mistakes. One would think they were almost doing it intentionally. As for the allagations. Count me in. I can account for some pretty bad things with megatrux

Great....another drive by poster -
I've heard about this from Lockridge

They will file bankruptsy at the expense of the O/Os and close their doors. Then, on the following day they will reopen their doors with a different company name and no liabilities. Class action lawsuits profit the lawyers, no one else. Drivers that spout such actions should spend their time driving for someone else.
sevenmph Thanks this. -
