truckers beware jones motor/jones express is a very bad company to deal with. they fill your head with a buch on things to get you to lease a truck as an owner operator with them but they dont tell you everything you need to know up front. they do the total opposite of what the paperwork you sign says they are going to do. they do not fully explain to you all the deductions when you first start and the loads they give you are only enough to make your truck payment therby leaving you with no money to eat or to help your family (if you have family). the so called fuel surcharge is not enough for you to make your stops and they dead head you hundreds of miles with no pay. dont make the same mistake i made and take there word for anything because it is all a bunch of lies.

If leasing a truck was so profitable, why would a company be so generous and let someone else lease it? If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

Jones does not do the truck leasing, its through quality leasing out of Indianapolis In. and they are a pain in the rear. picked up a truck, took it back 4 days later. they had just done a DOT on it and when i got to Jones it flunked and they had me running around to different shops with a total of 300 miles and 2 lost days of work, they refused to comp me on it, so it went bk.

It's all spelled out in the contract, which you are allowed to read, BEFORE you sign.
