Hendrickson Trucking, Inc. - Sacramento, Ca.

This company has very poor equipment, very unsafe. One driver I know received an inspection. He had to have numerous issues repaired on the truck. He received a ticket for which the company has yet to reimburse him for. He uses his own money to put oil in the truck because of a substantial oil leak they have yet to fix, again, not reimbursed.

He has shuttled trailers and done local work for them only to find out they did not pay him hourly, as originally indicated. Turns out they did not pay him at all.

The dispatchers are rude and unfriendly, the planners have no clue how to actually plan, every load put on the driver is already late, even the recruiter is rude once you have been hired.

I really think this is a pattern of behavior that starts at the top and rolls down. Perhaps current and previous driver's should get together and initiate a class action lawsuit.

 

I worked for Hendrickson trucking for a month too long and that was before discovering this web site.
I went to the Labor Commissioner and filed a claim for all the time sitting in the Hendrickson truck waiting for a load, waiting to drop and hook with another truck or all the time waiting to unload.
I received over $800.00 !!

I would highly recommend anyone ever working for Hendrickson and/or currently working, to go back to your log book and total all your times. waiting to unload time for loading Times going through the supposed safety lane, any time you sat and waited for a drop & hook. Then file a claim with the Labor Commissioner then sit back waiting for your check.

In the trucking industry they will gladly compensate you for driving their truck from point "A" to Point "B" however they expect drivers to give up 2 hours at loading and 2 hours unloading.
THIS IS THE LIE!
These Trucking companies are taking advantage of you as a driver, they are NOT compensating you for sitting in their truck, representing their company, and being responsible for that truck!

 

Wow, this thread is full of education about this company. I was kinda looking forward to working for a company that was based in my old hometown.

I just sent them an e-mail asking if they would hire a seattle based driver, now I am regretting it. If all this is true, that's amazing that they continue to survive.

 

It's not too late! You can still retract your application! I just saw a Hendrickson truck make a delivery to our warehouse the other day and after he was done getting unloaded, the truck sat there all night at our lot. WHEW! Sure brings back old memories.

 

Well let me say something your not the only one who got threating buy their mob tactics. I was told by Erica in HR that she would hunt me down and remove my pravites if it came back to her that she stated that the company has a class action suit going on well she has already gave her dep. to the att and amittied that the leaser conteact is ######## and Hendrickson should have been treating all leasers as company drivers. To have mangement threating a empolyee well you get the pictuer.
They are into all the media because of their mob contacts and I am gonna make sure they are shut down and all the drivers including my self get the money that is owed to me!!

I spoke to the shreiff dept. on florin perkins and the took my statement at said they were aware of all the personal threats Hendrickson was making to their drivers and told me they couldnt do anything. HMMMMM REALY!

 

Terraristic threating thats a feloney well not to a company that pays cops and media off !

 

Hendrickson Trucking should change their name to H.A.G.E. (pronounced Hagee) Hell's Angel's Get Even Trucking, Inc. ^_^.

 

I had the same experience when I worked for them with one exception. I actually received a clean Level One Inspection in one of their trucks, got the sticker and was pulled off of that truck as soon as I got back to the terminal in Sacramento. The inspection report did not appear on my PSP and it has taken me two years to get the omission fixed.
