According to the California Labor Code "LAW"
All companies in California providing any training or orientation must pay all employees for their time. That would include driving into Sacramento to do a drug test.
Hendrickson does not pay any of the employees for sitting in the 2-3 day class.

I found out that Hendrickson Trucking was investigated by the U.S. Department of Labor. Several drivers were awarded a settlement, that investigation concluded in February 2011.

You would think they would have learned but the abuse is worse now.

The Sacramento office number for the U.S. Department of Labor is 916-978-6123 they are eager to hear from drivers

ya its that fat f;;;;;;king pig candy when i worked there i told her over 20 times where and how to send my check and she still did it her way i suppose if I bought a trailer full of chocolate she would do it right and she is famous for messing with peoples pay as well but she ruined the direct deposit for the company but my best guess is that the only reason shes still there is cause she threatened to sit on Ward

 

Well I've driven for Hendrickson, on two seperate occasions. The first was back in the mid 90's when the old man was running the company....it was lovely then, I had a dedicated run, and got an extra 4 cents per mile more just for running at night. Then I moved back East to try and save my marriage. Needless to say the marrigae failed anyway. So a couple of years ago I move back west to the Phoenix area, and went back to work for Hendrickson.BIG mistake, Ward the son is running things now, I wouldn't recommend driving for this company, its a joke now! I rank this company down there with AAX, Triad Tansport, and Actic Express. Which are companies I've driven for over my 27 year driving history.

 

Hey I have a great idea... why not change companies or is Hendrickson the only company that you want to work for? I work for JBS they have great benifits for example 10 days paid vacation and you can take your vacation anytime after your hired (you get your pay on your anaversary.) I know i didn't spell anaversary right. Oh also i have wife and 4 kids and i pay 147. a month for health,dental,vision. They also are the largest beef producer in the world. so they $$$

I think I met Ward once he talked down to me and had a very arrogant, napoleon like dictator demeanor. He was an absolute jerk..
