LOL That's what they mean by "Pride Through Performance" It's too bad that Henderson treats their drivers like crap! I always got the impression from the appearance of their trucks that they respected their drivers and kept their equipment maintained. Man, was I wrong! Glad I'm not working for them. Some one should remind the owners that if it wasn't for the pride of their drivers not delivering loads to customers safely and on time, there wouldn't be any performance.

    Aloha, Stingray

well thats what the qc is for. frist rule of trucking "cover your ###". so if the try to hand you a load that is all ready late you make them put it on the qc that you are not responable for otd. you been driving for 10 yrs and havent figured that out yet? or is it that earl l. henderson is the frist company u work for with qc. i perfer to commucate over the qc so there is a perminate record of it. so the is no back lash or bs.

I have more good experince with henderson trucking then bad. i started with them with only 6 months experince because the company I started out with went out of buisness,no other company wanted to touch me. In febuary 97 bill beaty was my recriuter, I had to be 2nd seat until I had a year experince. With the positive feed back i got with my 1st seat drivers I got 1st seat 2 month sooner. I was on there blue fleet (regional) never went west of denver for a year. went back to 48. In november 99 I got my first of 2 brand new trucks with them. The biggest thing that made me stay with them for 5 yrs and came back to them until I went local was the little things like I never had an issue with the shop and even at frightliners if I needed something done I always got the ok. One time at Troy.il after the clerk hung up he looked at me a said " who are you anybody else asked for this stuff they would have said no but he just told ne to do what ever you needed." Also brian Henderson at the time head of operations diffendent me after I got banned from Safeway in upper marboro,md most companies would have threw me under the tires. the reasons I left was after 5 years of 120,000 plus miles burnt me out bur that was the biggesrt mistake I ever made.
I personally think any lease programe is bad no matter what company it is with. you have to pay for you owne benifits but I know drivrers that wanted Henderson to start one years ago.

Yes they do. Contact recruiting for more details. You have to go with a trainer for 9-12 weeks. I have no clue what you get paid during that time, again recruiting can help you will that.

I have been here for over 4 years, and while I have probably seen some of all the things mentioned in other posts, I just keep on trucking. Sometimes I have to shovel crap too, and others I get the gravy runs. I all comes out even in the end.
