What do the guys pulling two 53's on I90 make? Seems like it would be a stressfull gig.
-
there not pulling 53' they are pulling 48'. extra dime a mile plus extra pay to hook set up
54Trucker Thanks this. -
I went by the yard Gypsum Express was working out of in Fairless Hills, PA. There was 2 trailers, which were both empty, and not a single tractor in sight. I wonder if they moved to a different spot, or just closed the terminal completely.

i dont know what he is talking about the terminal in shadyside has younger people working for them, we get good miles, and pay starts at 41cpm loaded and 37cpm empty with only one yr exp. im avg 2000-2500 miles everyweek unless i take an extra day off, but when i run all week i get the miles even had a week with over 3000miles just depends on if you run your clock right and keep your butt in the truck thanks

I don't mean to revive an old thread, but I was wondering if there were any drivers - on here - who are currently working for Gypsum? I'm looking into them, and would like to get a better standpoint on the company, other than through their website and recruiters. If so, please, feel free to PM me. Thanks!

are you still working for Gypsum I am thinking about taking a job with them I am in Fayetteville WV. Just wondering if the company has got there act together

I am still with the company and feeling good about it, get good miles and the pay is great. they are starting Drivers out at 45cpm loaded and 37cpm empty now. it is tough work out in the weather and the winters but well worth it. the dispatchers treat me like I am a person not just another butt in the seat. they got me home for the holidays and was still able to get me some miles to make a ok check but thats the holidays. but i do get home for the weekends on a regular basis.

That is good I am trying to make the right decision first when it comes to accepting a otr job the weather is the real worry I have really never drove in the snow and am a little worried about that the recruiter Melissa told me she would start me out at .41 cpm loaded but not for sure about empty what terminal are you out of I really am hoping if I accept this I will be out of Shady side OH but not for sure about that either
