Accelerated Freight Group - Theodore, Al. This is the only company that I can personally say to everyone do not work there,I started on the 28 day of december,2006,and by the time christmas had ran its course,I had gone into 3 different trucks due to the lack of owner and safety recognizing faults with all equiptment,they will not pay what they say they pay,loaded or empty,come to find out I was only making $12.50 per load,the last truck i was in the drivers seat was broke and I had to use a piece of 2x4 to hold it up,cracked windshield,and very bad exaust leak coming up in the cab when driving and while sleep.its so much wrong with that place but drivers insist they dont have problems,I was like thats why they all sitting in different states waiting at times a day or so for a load.hope i did this right. Accelerated Freight Group Theodore AL You are right concerning this company. Their safety dept. resonsibile for maintainance was very slow in addressing issues concerning the trucks. They wanted you to continue driving until it was conveniant for them to address problems. Also don't ever get hurt while working for them. I was injuried in June 07 and the Hr dept. refused to file a WC first report of injury or allow me to see a doctor. It took 2 months for me to get WC to accept a claim. Which as of Dec 07 they have denied claim. They also canceled my personal insurance twice which caused delays in medical treatment. I heard through the grape vine that the company sold out to another company back in Sept. 07. They never bothered to let me know this and they have not once called and checked to see how I'm doing. Its a shame how quick they turn their back on you.
