You will be told that you can go company, that is a lie. It will take you three to four months to get a company truck and you will sit there without pay while you wait. You will be forced into a lease. Their "trainers" are recent graduates with less then 1.5 months experience.
I had to have my trainer fired due to physical violence against me (i am a woman), sexual harassment, taking sleeping pills while he was supposed to be helping me, and a whole lot more. Oh and because England cares they hired him back. I guess physical violence against women is acceptable to them. One women was actually raped by her trainer and all they did was fire him for now. They double up on training so you will be sharing a bed with someone, or like my trainer did make me sleep on the top bunk..safety first..lol
The burns harbor living conditions are deplorable, the hotel was actually condemned at one point and they bought it. Some people have actually contracted scabies from that place.
Oh and that lease that you will end up signing..there is a 14 cent per mile variable that you will pay to England, on top of the 525 lease, 225 for insurance, 48 for permits, fuel, tolls, and weighs..and this is per week. And if you get a crappy DM like Brian Mead (who has never driven) you will never get any miles so you will be upside down every week. I made 500 in six months.
