I've worked for a few different companies up in the Bakken and am currently with Fox Run. I think they have made some pretty big improvements in some of the earlier posts. They pay well and my pay check has always been pretty accurate. They have living space available in campers and the trucks are available to stay in. They have lots of work available. I think they are probably short handed on staff all like most place are up here but I am happy with them so far.

Fox run is a joke. In the time that I was there they burned through over 100 drivers. Payroll is designed to keep you guessing, you can't tell what you got paid or what you got paid for. I ran 3 identical loads back to back and they all paid different. No one could explain how or why. If the customer doesn't pay for whatever reason Dan won't pay you. If you quit they will F over your last check. I worked there way longer than I should have. And if you're wondering no I'm not angry bitter guy. I just feel the truth should be told.

Hi folks. My husband just started at Fox Run. We live in out of state and have kids in school. This was not an easy decision for us but it happened really quickly. Staying busy hasn't been a problem. Payroll and other issues? We are going mostly on faith because he hasn't been there long enough to open a check yet. He hasn't had the time to sit down and have a serious face-to-face with anyone in the office regarding loads, pay outs, etc.. The questions he has asked they have answered honestly as far as we can tell. The contracts are now posted, as are the load rates. Is there anyone with CURRENT and solid information on this company?? We are being foreclosed on and are counting on this job to put our roof our heads, literally. He works long hours, yes, but he is used to that. He says it's the easiest job he's ever had, but he's used to working PLUS managing the entire distribution center, so this is actually a less stressful situation, other than the uncertainty. Any advice??

Tell your husband to go to Williston, Rockwater is hiring drivers. Hell just about everybody in Williston is hiring. Don't waste your time in Berthold go west. Basin trucking, JMAC, MBI, Badlands, Red River all in Williston all hiring.

Thank you very much, insertnamehere. We have good friends in Williston so I will them to be keeping their eyes and ears open. He's doing what he can to make sure we get a roof over our heads, so we appreciate any and all input we can get. He got the call on a Friday, left Monday, and was in a truck by Friday. Training and paperwork done in record time. He is a go-getter and has no problem working long hours. We just need to make sure he's with a company we can trust, for so many reasons. I will pass this on to him and will continue to check here for any further advice. Thank you!!

Thanks again for the info. He's going to give a fair shake but will obviously be keeping his eyes & ears open. They seem to have some things on the right track. Contracts and load rates are now posted in the common area. He's been asking questions and getting honest answers, so that's a start. Hope you're doing well and staying warm and safe. THANKS AGAIN!
