Should be a requirement of 2 years experience before LEASE is even discussed.

I do like that they offer a 6 mo, 1 yr and a 5 year lease option if you don't want to commit long term right off the bat. 75% of their fleet is independent contractors, either O/O or L/O.
I'm dead set on going company out of the gate to get my feet wet and after a while I'll reevaluate and do more research.
I did meet a couple of drivers that went L/O right out of training and did just fine, but they asked the more successful guys how it works and followed it to the T.

Right now it's $1.20 a mile with the increase in fuel surcharge. Trans Am has been fairly liberal in passing of their pump discounts to me, and my fuel economy and how I decide how much to put in makes my fuel payments and my surcharge about equal or even favoring the surcharge. The fixed total cost with the optionals included is around $909 for me.

this is the same old same old same old same old same old story.
it has gotten old. i used to feel sorry for those who got scammed, but not anymore. with years, nor, decades of information at the fingertips of people, they still line up for this scam, and still wonder why they are getting the shaft.
here's the reason. i will tell you the insiders secret. the reason why you got screwed is because you asked for it. you wanted it. nobody could have talked you out of it, you didn't do your homework and now you screwed yourself and your family.
and you asked for it. you wanted it so bad you signed a contract i bet you never even read the first 2 lines of or took to a lawyer to check in to.
nope. i'm billy bigrigger. where do i sign.
and tomorrow, as the lawyer for the company that screwed you prepares to put a judgement on you that will take decades to pay off, another idiot will happily jump into your seat, and be here crying in about 2 months.
