they will not pay you when you leave the company. Richard Liar the safety director will have you break the rules and then write you up. i was injured in march unloading 90 lb bundles of carpet padding and he never responded to my needs. they owe me over $3000.00 dollars for four weeks pay. He is AN OBITUAL LIAR, COURSE THAT IS HIS LAST Name.

:biggrin_2559: You mean habitual liar? Obitual means pertaining to death. I guess that would work. I believe I would change my last name.

If you ever get hurt and the employer won't do anything, contact their state dept of workers comp. They'll force them to file and pay your medical treatment or pay a large fine. Most states have online complaint forms.

Oh yeah, I had to do this with a company in Arizona...they refused to pay my ER bill so I sent it to the State Workmans Comp Bureau and they took care of it.

You are a very small percentage. While I was there I talked to many drivers. None were happy. 100% turnover rate isn't a good sign.

I have been here for 6 months been driving for over 17 years took off 4 years for deployment and nobody would hire me cause i had not driven in thew pasat 3 years pretty sad for serving your country but Western Flyer understood and hired me and they run me to death, the people i work with are nice, everybody has good and bad days, but the only thing i can say is a small problem is pay, i feel it should be a bit more per mile then it is, even after a year it should go up a little, after that i would say the equipment they need to get some better trucks but from what i hear they are getting new ones in this month we will see...All in all i have had no problems so far i am happy..

I chatted with Gail Brown a few days ago while laid over. She explained that the pay is tied to the truck speed. If you want 65, you get .33. If you have it set at 60, it's .38. another penny if you have hazmat endorsement. another .02 every quarter as long as you run at least 35000 in that quarter. What got my attention was a dedicated Sapulpa/Hou/OKC loop that has you home every weekend.
Ok, that's the bait. I'd like to hear some sitreps from current WFX drivers...
