Another case of the "Big Bad Company" is at fault. OP needs to man up and take responsibility for His lack of correct action and poor decisions.

How can your log not be right when there are 2 drivers in the truck?

This is one of those life lessons. CYA ! The companies do it. So should EVERY driver.

The minute they told you and your co-driver to rent a car and don't let you drive should've told you right then and there you were fired. They brought you in their to cover their ##### before any lawsuits or d.o.t audits hit their desks. You should've had your co-driver drop you off at the closet greyhound station and went home from there. Besides why would you leave your personal belongings in the truck ( and a wreck truck at that ) if they were sending you guys back to OKC.

Buddy, You were getting paid 22cpm because you were running team and getting paid for all the miles. That equates to 44cpm as a solo guy.

    This sounds like BS.

After 10 months he would have been paid more than .22. It would have been closer to .32cpm.

Some drivers always want to do a 34 when they don't need to. If you have enough hours to run they will tell you to run.

CRST never asked or told me to falsify a log. How come this guy had missing logs? There's two copies.

CRST does not pay like that. In 2010 the top pay was .43 cpm, unless you were a trainer. They pay split miles and pay is based on years of experience. Top pay is 5 years and over.

I would hire a lawyer to find out if this idiot has a history of causing accidents this way.

There are people out there who play those games and win big time doing it.

Not until someone pulls their history do that find it out and put the pieces together.

Lol...give the guy a break huh.....can't you see he's had a bad couple of years...I mean really it's been 2 years since that accident and hes just now (within the last 8 days) relaying this story....his math might be a little fuzzy but I believe him....well ok maybe I don't but I want to.....ok maybe I don't but we should...because crst is a bad company and so are all the other big ones....sorry man don't mean to make light of your situation but there are a lot of people who get fired from companies all the time. The funny thing is we only read about their side never the companies. I've worked for bad companies in the past but that's where they are in the past. Learn from it and be more vigil about what's going on around you.

    the issue I have is.

There really are people who's scam it is to cause accidents by doing exactly what he described.

Pull up in front of a vehicle and slam on the brakes causing accidents. As well as working with others and pinching you forcing you to hit someone else.

It's not the first time I have heard of it happening.

And taking 2 years to have a suit filed. the accident happened so long ago everything is fuzzy.

It's a way of getting you to settle out of court and to get a nice chunk of change.

There are a lot of issues with this story, but the main one is why in the samhell did you let them force you to run illegal, You are the captain of that ship and in the end what you say goes, no matter what the company says. Now your career is screwed, and you can't get hired tell me was it worth the extra money running illegal?

This is exactly the reason I invested 75.00 and bought a dash camera, the camera doesn't lie and it works really well.
