I tried to look at his side for sure, but the log situation, with 2 drivers..?
All the more reason to "keep your nose clean" if your running illegal..
All the more reason to look to haul for someone else if your carrier wants you to run "shakey logs".

I ran with CRST for nearly 2 years.

    1. Was never asked to run illegal

    2. .22/mi is only the wage for the first 3 months

    3. How can you be asked to drive over hours when you have a co driver who can drive when your hours are up?

    4. You should rarely, if ever need a 34 hour reset when driving team...and when you do that truck can usually roll after 24 hrs as the other driver can take his last 10 while the truck is rolling.

    5. CRST does not have an accident policy that automatically terminates you for any accident.

While I don't doubt people will do dumb stuff like this...I typically don't think this is a very smart thing to attempt to get rear ended by an 80,000 lb vehicle travelling 65 mph...usually people who do this once, don't get a chance to try it again.

Its not hard to run out of hours running team, especially with new drivers who dont know how to manage their time and sleep. I worked for them, and it was hard getting up to drive for 10 or 11 hours after your co driver spent all day hunting down a trailer and d/h, and city work. CRST IS NO BUENO.

Yeah, that really sucks...I went to crst schooling but after i finished at the college i paid the college my fee and told crst to stick their contract up there ###..Horrible trucking company,i really dont see how they get away with everything they do,and,i dont see how people could bare to be seen in a crst truck...embarrassing imo.

Rather you drive for crst or another big trucking company, it is a matter of time management no matter how bad the companies are. If you manage your time well, you can get good mileage, good rest when it is time for rest and you can make good money. And by all means, manage your defenseive driving skills. Alot of the driving skills and even record keeping is mostly comon scence.

It would not take me 3 day's to redo my log's unless I had 6 months to redo.
