Something triggered CRST to take immediate action. They would'nt have spent good money for a wrecker if this driver was'nt at fault,I don't think. If it was a random who knows he may have only had a few beers and it was still in his system at the time of the test.

Maybe in some kind of hit and run crash where he didn't report it
Maybe one of those video spy people caught him on tape driving in a dangerous manner
Maybe egregiously overdriving his HOS on a regular basis despite counseling
Maybe had one or more tickets he failed to inform the company about
thus resulting in a suspended license or beyond the limits of the state line his parole allows-- who knows.

I also spoke with a CRST driver that was left stranded 1,500 miles away from home.He said that they told him to park to a certain truck stop while they look for a load to take him home so he went to take a shower and watch tv.By the time he came to the truck it was gone.He called CRST and they told him he was fired because he refused to take a load.He has been on the road for a while and he told CRST he wanted to go home to see his family. He was not on drugs nor drunk when I spoke to him.

Maybe Dorothy, Toto, and the Tinman were with him, and the company considers them unauthorized riders!
