I dont see how anyone in this day and age would agree to less than $1.00 a mile for anything.
BEWARE of CR England!

Being a fleet owner at CRE is a horrible idea. I knew a lot of them when I was working there and most of them would just be happy breaking even on the truck every week. Moving freight for $0.90 a mile is no way to make a living then you have to pay your driving their share. Most fleet owners just wanted to finish paying off the truck and then get the heck out of England. The successful ones wanted to get their own authority because they new England was limiting their potential to actually make what a true fleet owner should be making.
Eventually all the fleet owners I knew at England either left or lost it all because they were always in the red. There was one success story involving a guy who everyone called Trinidad but that story does not have a happy ending.AfterShock Thanks this. -
And let's be clear it's only $.75 - not $.90 - after the $.14 variable mileage charge and another penny for IFTA - your IFTA is already included in your fuel purchase. But you would never know that because CRE does not provide an accounting for your IFTA - they just bill you, deducting it from you settlement.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
After all the bad CRE posts the lambs keep lining up for the slaughter.....the tactics used ( high pressure, bait and switch) but they keep coming......
"Oh they promised this or they promised that".....Ever hear of DUE DILLIGENCE.....or CYA.
The only way to slow that Mormon machine down...is to dry up the supply of applicants and dry up the government subsidies. Put them into panic mode. -
Man-0-Man!?
If that don't make ya go, Hmmmmmm ------ :smt017
I don't know what would.
What happened?
Did Trinidad achieve such a lofty goal that the Sons-0-Chester actually noticed one of their Big (leased)truck truck drivers did the impossible, --- finding success by following the confusingly complex instructions cleverly devised to sound good, but in actuality are a bitter recipe for sure-fire failure?
And, as an added bonus, Trinidad received his choice betwixt an England, Knight or Moyes hand in marriage. Whichever hand he weds, he's part of the clan from Plain City from then to forever.
Or sumthin' like that?
Trinidad and England, .......................... Hmmmmmmm -------
I hear a Country song in the makin'. :smt035:smt034
Or, if Trinidad picked the hand of a female Knight,
it could be a hit television series.
The Good Knight. :smt061
Yeah, I think I know what'cha all are thinkin',
that's too far a stretch of the imagination to be believable.
But, ........ what if it was a comedy show?
Then again, how would a comedy that ain't funny go over?
Who would believe what airs ain't a script?
Facts, just the facts.
And now a word from the sponsors, ...............
Howdy folks!
Are y'all tired of the hum-drum job?
Had enough of the boss?
What if I show y'all a way to be your own boss, drivin' a great lookin' red Big truck with y'all's name on the door so everybody will know you da man? Don't know nuthin' 'bout drivin' a Big truck? Not to worry. Most of the lease fleet don't know nuthin' neither. Y'all will fit right in. We'll teach y'all a lesson on how to make more money than ever before, --- for the Sons-0-Chester. Just bring us your good work ethics and we'll take it from there.
Don't hesitate folks. Don't even think about it. Do it before you change your mind (after readin' what some of the knowledgeable posters at The Truckers' Report will fill your head with, ----- stuff, like the truth.).
Truth hurts, don't'cha know.
That's why the Sons-0-Chester avoid it.
And y'all should, too. :smt047
And now, back to The Good Knight, .............................. *click*

AfterShock and Dewey120 Thank this. -
CR ENGLAND has stepped up. It only makes sense that if you do not own a tractor truck then you would have to lease it, I also don't understand why the 4 hour meeting was so horrible? Were you there? There is plenty of ways to contact corporate businesses if a problem comes up.
