CR England had it towed to a dealership. It was left in a locked and secured shop. That was one of the reasons he was not able to stay in the truck and was told he'd have to get a motel room for the three days it took to get it back on the road because they secure their shop each night. Had he not had that expense - he may have stuck it out. Making him pay for the trainee's room and then taking him off his truck when he refused to pay was the final straw. I think by then he was pretty much done. Livid, fed up and just totally spent! He had been in school and on the road training for the last couple of months and not able to send money home to his family (the little he did make during training was eaten up at the truck stops for meals, which was one of the big reasons why he outfitted the truck with the micro, fridge and coffee pot). He hadn't made any money - was going in the hole - and was just at the end of his rope.

It never ceases to amaze me how a company like this is still in business. We are in a recession and there are ALOT of people who have been gobbled up by the CRE machine. Why in the world hasn't something been done about this company? Surely the state has power here, and with all the complaints I'm sure they've gotten over the years, why hasn't something been done? CRE should be nothing but a distant memory at this point, but they are still thriving from the profits made off drivers backs. It is sad to hear.

Not at you but think about it,thats laughable. How in the heck does england expect him to pay for trainees room when he was'nt making anything.Wonder if trainee woke up and left before he got in too deep with england. You know both of you are going to bounce back.Things like this only makes you a stronger person. So what are you doing for income?

I also agree . . . something needs to be done. They will continue to get away with this as long as they are able to - as long as it's all overlooked and swept to the side at our expense - it's all good. Someone, or perhaps a group of people, need to take a stand and say "enough is enough"! This is why I have written a review on Yelp, why I joined this forum and why I will be contacting the OOIDA first thing Monday morning. If we had the money to hire an attorney - we would also look into that.

He is currently looking for work. I have been waiting to look for work until we were able to find out where we should move in order to get him home more often, currently, we do not live near any of the major interstates he was traveling. We're in a pretty desperate situation until we can find work. Prior to this, he owned his own contracting business and ended up shutting it down after 12 years of business due to the economy and lack of work. He had been seeing alot of local advertisements for CR England, called them up, was pre-screened and on a bus to SLC UT with a matter of days. We had very high hopes. We were going to move closer to a major interstate and then I was going to start looking for work, so right now, we're both out there looking. It's tough out there right now, but with a little faith, we'll get through it . . .

There's attorneys that don't charge.,which is called pro bono. They receive money form the settlement if you win.OOIDA I bet knows a few trucker lawyers. Are you a member of OOIDA?They may give you advice but won't help unless you are a member.
