Help 2 Hotchkiss Trucking, Inc. - Mosinee, Wi.

Hotchkiss Trucking is a small company out of Mosinee,Wi.I worked for them for 3 weeks and it was a nightmare of an experience. They put me in a truck that was litterally falling apart as I drove down the road. They would not spend any money to fix anything. They treat their drivers like slave labor and demand that you work 19 hours a day.If you resist then I am assuming what they did to me is standard treatment. While parked at a truckstop in Texarkana, Ar., supposedly waiting on a load that would take me back to Mosinee, Wi., so that Icould return their truck to them and be on my way, They called a towing company and had the truck towed away and left me stranded in Arkansas. I wasn't even able to get all of my belongings out of the truck. They owe me more than 1200 dollars and refuse to pay me. They will not respond to any of my phone calls or E-mails.

Seek the advice of a local Attorney. Suing them will get their attention.

Leaving you stranded, despite any dispute that may have existed between the two of you was wrong. Just as every driver has an obligation to return the truck to the point of hire, a company has an obligation to allow that driver to do so.

The sad part is I wonder if they plan on billing the wrecker out of his wages? Not to mention what they will do with his DAC.

I would think that is going to be exactly what they do, take it out of his pay... And again the dreaded unfair reporting agency DAC will except anything the company says as the truth, and its up to the driver to prove it is not.

If he's lucky, they don't subscribe to USIS...
