if you can get over the crap in orientation and actually work hard for them and keep your opinions to yourself you will go far with them..Mr. Big Dog is right in some aspect..there is a 750 dollar deposit and 25 bucks a week will be removed from your paycheck..but how many companies do you know of that don't like having their trucks to sit? not many, and yes the recruiters seem to be a bit pushy and want to rush to get you off their phones..its best you talk to a Driver for them..and yes I drive for them. you have guys in the company making 500 to 600 bucks a week and then you have guys who run like dogs persuading the consignee to take their freight now and trying to come up with some way to make them take their freight early and they will be making 800 to 900 bucks and that's including having all of carroll fulmer's deductions taken out..If you wanna go far and making the most out of your paycheck learn how to lie like a dog to the customers and not your company. bring out crying heartfelt tears if you have to and lie and tell them your wife is having surgery and youre just trying to get home..It works for me everytime..and my checks are stout :D if you wanna join on with us..just say so, because instead of paying off those nasty rear ending recruiters you could be helping this driver's paycheck by letting him recruit you..and believe me im not going to feed you a bunch of lies about this place the freight they have will put you a lot in florida and there are some darn good freight heading out as far as California which I have had my driver manager to give me those kinds of runs..and ive only been here for 2 months now..so if you love money? and you don't sweat about looking fashionable driving down the road in a pretty little semi? come work for us..we want you in our family making cash brother

Wow! 800 to 900 per week? And you only had to pull 2500 to 3500 miles for that? Well, let's see... that comes out to .25 to .33 per mile. What is it you're currently making, Shaker2? Cause something just isn't adding up. Either you're making around .25 per mile, or you're blowing smoke about your miles.

I do not work for Carroll Fulmer. I have never talked to anyone with the company, office or drivers. I know nothing about the company. But I LOVE this reply!!!

That is not common-to take money in escrow. I see they have ads as a family-orientated outfit. My only concern about them was; when I was living in Florida I called there, the recruiter was extremely rude. I politely asked if they did a lot of driver unloading (where I must unload) and he told me if you have to ask so many questions -find another company. That was enough for me. That was years ago, maybe there are better now.

Yes, 800-900 a week is ok if you have only been driving one year, but later you will need to take home 1200-1400 week to really feel a bit comfortable. Maybe you are single, but it would be difficult for anyone with a family of 4 or so making mortgage payments and so on.

One driver claims he drives for them, but then states "We fire jerks, and We fire dishonest people!" Sounds more like management, maybe a son-in-law...

Then, another driver brags about lieing to all the customers, and makes money because of it. Hmmm, I thought they fired jerks and liers......

Nothing like taking money earned from lieing all week home to your family. So hey Dad, how many lies did you tell this week? Oh ya, by the way, I need $20, you see my friends and I are having a pizza party at Jills house...Cough, Cough....

You can't make this stuff up.....

Hubby dries for them and has been for about 6 months, not a lot to complain about, money could be better but then it could always be better. He does one of there dedicated routes and home every week end So far they are a good company,His driver manager seems to care if he is rolling or not, and 99 percent are drop and hook.
