on your profile it shows you are not even a trucker, so why are you bad mouthing a good company? I have been there over 12 years and probably retire there.

My brother in law wanted to join their heavy haul division a long time ago. I've never heard anything bad from them... rather all the opposite.

It's all owner ops. All different color trucks. I am an approved carrier for them and pull maybe 10-12 loads a year for them. I know perhaps 5 owner ops there quite well; and can say with NO fear of contradiction that Sammons is a GOOD outfit to pull for.

If a lease op or owner op has issues with them they would have issues anywhere. NO company is perfect; just as NO owner op is perfect. I have never had an issue with communication, pay or anything else with them. I CALL B.S. on the original post!!

All of the sammons trucks I remember seeing were white or blue. I didn't know that they were owner operators. I was interested in them at one time as I was thinking of moving to Montana.

Years ago they had a fleet of so called company trucks. They ran under Lake States.
That is no longer. They are all O/O. They have trailers you can lease from them, or run your own trailer.
They do have a lease purchase program as well to my understanding.
Ask NWMAXI, he post here on the flatbed msg. board.

Me I'm now with them since the beginning of June. So far so good. I've had some bad weeks and some really great weeks.
You do not have to live in Mt. either

I have talked in person to a few O/O with them in person, just like any other company. Good days and bad sometimes, but most were happy.
