I worked for tango for 6 months...i never did paper logs before..i was told they went to paper because the sw was causing drivers to get dot violations....i was terminated this month because of equipment failure...but of course i was blamed as it was reported as driver preventable...no ticket, non reportable incident...truck broke loose, rolled away...i know i set cab brake...but they would not investigate as i requested...i immediately told them (day of accident) i would take a drug screen as required, they said no just wait...when i did finally get back to la, i tried twice to get drug screen, twice again they said no. I sat for 2 days in terminal then told to go home...i sat another 2 weeks. I then i called and they said we will get back to you...a few hrs later safety called and i was told i was fired due to "law violations and a preventable accident" yet the day of accident safety had called me to tell me they were mailing me a safety inspection awards check which i never recvd..they kept my last load check too, charged me for car rentals x 2...none of that is what gets me..what gets me is not once during my tenure there did any one say come in and lets review your paperlog procedures...i told them i was having trouble as i logged it exactly as it occured...no cheating...its hard enough to keep up with the truth much less lies. I was making a good check...bringing home $ 750.00 to 1,000 a week...i wanted to stay...i wanted to be a good driver...an honest driver. I'm sorry truck was damaged while on my watch...i feel real bad as i don't like trouble that this...when applying for new job co's ask why i left and of course i tell them and then..."click"...now i can't get any one to even return my call for a job...i have a mortgage and i'm a little afraid...i'm hoping and praying god will help me find another co...i've been driving one thing or another for 40 years and have never had an accident...i know this was not my fault but i can't prove it.

Welcome to trucking RAYZ55. Sounds typical of just about any company.

P.S.- If you are going to rely on "God" to find you another company, and you have that kind of faith...why not ask "God" why He got you canned in the first place?

I had been there with them i walked away because Tango owed me more than $2,500 and everytime i called payroll i either got phone hung up on me or told me they're working on it what is sad the fact that the state of louisiana not doing anything about it so the drivers can get their money they earned.
