Not a great place to work. Talk down to you at Orientation. Talk to you any kind of way on the phone and Qualcomm!! Still trying to run Outlaw on electronics logs. Dispatch time are fine, its the delivery times I had a problem with. Wait all day at Tyson, then drive like hell to get there, always close. Safe Director is a A#$$$%$le. Leasing dept is a joke!! Payroll only talks to you if you can get them on the phone. Bringing in drivers in droves!! 22 in my class and 42 in my team partner class!! They stand there and tell you how JCT was!! Never saying how John doesn't run the company anymore. He lives in Florida!! Stay out of the shop, his ex wife owns shop, John has the trailers, Son has the trucks. They will LIE!! Beware!!

How does a driver with 20 years experience ( according to profile) end up @ a bottom feeding company like JCT?

    Dinomite Thanks this.

... the dream of leasing and driving a wore out truck that sort of looks good and you can call "yours", and making the company good money while you eat bologna sandwiches and praying the wheels don't fall off before your lease pmt is made????

Dinomite, bigjoel and MUSTANGGT Thank this.

Well the economy hasn't been kind to me. Local jobs have dried up in Atlanta. Tried to lease a truck and wanted to find about leasing if it was worth it. Hoping to make some money until next spring then move on!! Heard JCT was a good company, met plenty of the drivers and talked good about the company before the went to electronic logs!! Where do you work?

Don't knock electronic logs. I have made more on them then I did before on paper. It's all in knowing how to run, plus it keeps DOT from even bothering to look at you, and keeps the dispatchers off your back. They can't force you to run illegal. This is the first company I've had them at, I didn't think I would like them (bad mouthed them with the rest of the drivers who didn't really know them), been on them over a year, I love them.

That being said, I lasted 6 months a JCT in 2008 before I ran away screaming!

    Dinomite Thanks this.
