This is very helpful, Sir. I am a recent grad. Do u think I should start out as delivering singles?

 

If you're a recent grad you may not qualify. All haul away companies require at least 1 year otr. Some require 1-3 years.

If you do get hired do doubles and triples. Singles don't pay well and mostly older drivers are doing that. We're in this for the money.

They must be getting desperate for drivers.

I have no estimate for how much you can make. There are too many variables. Some guys are claiming some huge numbers that if true proves they are running dirty. You'll make more than otr. How much more is up to you and how well you learn to save money traveling. You have to decide if the extra money is worth the grueling work and the worries/hassles of finding your way back when empty.
