I worked for John Veriha Trucking. Let me give any drivers who are consider working here the inside dope. They will lie to you from the very beginning. All their average hauls are 250-400 miles. If you do not run illegal, you will not make any money. Even if you do run illegal, you wont make any money. If you work every weekend, you will average 1900 to 2200 miles per week, and that's if you cough up youre weekends. If you get any violation, they will make you sign a paper saying "one more screw up and youre done, and you will be terminated if you do not sign. When I started working there, I dropped a trailer at one of their scrap paper customers and could not find an empty. I had to search all over Green Bay for one, and when I finally found one, I could not use it because there was a tear in the roof. I should have resigned when I saw the words written on the trailer door, "John Veriha Trucking will screw you, they guarantee it". Whenever someone would ask me "Who do you work for? I would answer "john Veriha"...and they would reply "I'm very sorry to hear that". You will spend 2 hours a day looking for an empty no matter where you go. Their equipment is terrible and the other drivers could care less and never sweep them out as required. When you go to pickup a preloaded trailer from a customer, a simple drop and hook turns into "load is not ready", due to the company being so short on empty trailers. Youll also see 6 other JVT bobtails waiting at that same customer, pissed because preloaded trailers are never ready, or even available and have to wait there for 5 hours in embarrassment, while the other companies stare at us like we are all stupid for even working there . Company has lost several customers because of this and cant fulfill their contracts. Don't run local for them. They pay 12.00-13.00 per hour with no overtime, and you will starve. If you run regional, you will starve, too. They constantly ask regional guys to do local favors and say they will give you a p.o by the following morning. You will never see that p.o, and they will chuck you the finger.Dispatch will not pay any p.o' s, heck flatbed division complains that they dont pay them for tarping. If you do these guys any favors at all, they will lie to you and make you chase your money, and still wont get it. When someone will fire a driver on driver appreciation day or day before thanksgiving, then trust me, JVT needs to be avoided or better yet, put out of business. Stay clear of that Packerland "screw you behind your back" mentality. JVT Trucking, the perfect example of "Bottom Feeder, INC. Stay clear and stay safe
John Veriha Trucking- protect you're dac, dont work here.

Glad you posted about JVT. We were in Marinette, WI and talked to one of their drivers, he gave a good review, but he wasn't that friendly. Checking companies out. What you say about JVT is the same thing we went throught with Central Refrigerated Service out of West Valley, UT.

Hello I've been employed at Veriha trucking for 10 years as a regional driver. I get plenty of miles and I'm home every weekend. I'm driving a 2013 truck and pulling brand new trailers. They treat me very good here. Just like any trucking company they try to get free labor out of me once on awhile if I let them. I demand pay for local work and I always get it. My paycheks are always on the mark and if they missed anything they fix it for me right away. They aren't perfect but I wouldn't want to work anywhere else. That's just one mans opinion
