Baldwin Distribution is not at all organized. The Owner, does not follow his own policies, gives half-truth answers, has been in business 32 years and does not have, " Direct Deposit". The Vice-President who is the Owners Wife and partial-owner, does the payroll. ( If that's not a conflict of interest, I don't know what is). This Trucking Company, continues to give some of their Drivers BOUNCED PAYROLL CHECKS and charge $700.00 a week to Lease-Own a truck. The Pay-Stubs take a MBA to understand so you can pretty much see why there is a High-Turnover Rate for this Company. They do have some decent trucks but, if you can get them to put new tires on your truck, don't even think about asking to get an Alignment! This Company trys a short-cut on 99% of issues, equipment problems, fuel problems, and certain Dispatchers are foul-mouths, rude and very much so on the verge of being incompetent. Don't get me wrong, there are some good personnel there but, they really don't have a voice in the normal everyday functioning of the operation of this Company. Stay away from the stress and headaches created from being employed with this Company. It is Family-Owned but not Family Oriented and that's an understatement. You have been warned!!

    Signed, Friend not Foe!

Camoejoe - Baldwin Distribution HAS been in business 32 years and is well-respected. We have drivers that have been with us 25+ years. If we were as bad as you say, I doubt we'd have the great drivers that we have and we do have a bunch of them! We are very family oriented and have an open door policy for any questions. If a driver doesn't understand his pay stub (and we have very few of those) they come to one of us and in 10 minutes he's in the know. Just because you didn't make it with this company, doesn't make the company the bad guy.

So the problem is that the drivers don't "understand" their pay statements?

Not when it's still giving driver's a bad picture of Baldwin Distribution. Someone needs to respond when inaccurate information is damaging a company.

Worked for Baldwin nearly 7 years. Managed to struggle until they started nickel and dining drivers to death. Finally left 1 1/2 years ago. Turned in just under 4,000 miles and made $100. They couldn't explain why and got their keys back. Glad I got out - I've just been told by a lease driver who's still there that Dudleys sold to Navajo, but didn't disclose to them that he had lease operators. Left them stranded all over the country under loads with no fuel cards. Navajo had to fax them 10 page contracts to sign and fax back ($40 in fax fees) so they could get fuel to deliver loads and get back. Also, Dudleys refinanced the trucks and never made the payments. The finance company wants the trucks back - he didn't disclose this to Navajo either. Drivers who were waiting for titles on trucks they 'paid off' have nothing now. Last I heard DOT, local law enforcement and someone from Navajo were at the office looking into things. What say you Sawyer? By the way
    - Sawyer is the name of Dudley and Kathy Baldwin ' dog - real sweet dog.

Baldwin dist sold out to Navajo without giving any notice. Many drivers who invested close to ir more than $200, 000 on there lease was surprised to find out Dudley Baldwin refinance all trucks and while collecting the $700 per week truck payment ge never payed the bank in result all equipment was repo..the above statement is true they claim to be Christian but they're low life scum.if any of the Baldwin read this we appreciate the screwing in return of the loyalty and dedicated service myself and other drivers gave to you.
