BradBoyes this was not directed to you, yes P5CU. I know nothing of your experience. Only the experience with dealing with this company as being nothing short of wonderful.. If you feel this was directed towards you, well sir you must have a guilty consciense.

I have no clue what all this BS is about but let me voice my opinion I was the very first driver that TE SMITH hired when they opened here in the states as for these bogus complaints they're just that
#1 home time. When ever I want to go home I tell the dispatcher the week before and they have never let me down they always got me with a 100 miles or less close to my house a day or 2 before I requested and when I had a emergency that I had to get home immediately I had Mr Terry Smith, Ms Beverly Smith, Nathan Smith and the dispatch team working their tail off and I got home the very next day so home time happens whenever I ask for it and however long I want it.
#2 Family oriented I have never had a company that cared so much about me and my family when my mom had eye surgery and I was home I got several calls thru out the day from the owners of TE SMITH and their entire staff checking to see how my mom was doing and to see if I needed anything.
#3 Truck availability every one I know that's in a lease purchase with these bigger companies are paying around $1500 Or more per week plus additional charges for other stuff but at TE SMITH their payments are less than $1500 per month without a bunch of other charges so people are taking advantage of this offer and the company can't keep up with the demand
So as far all these false complaints saying its such a bad company it's all a bunch of S#%T I love the way this company cares for their drivers the way they treat us drivers if they are so bad then why in 6 months am I adding 3 more trucks to my fleet and making a killing and fantastic living for me and my family.
In closing I want to say
THANK YOU TE SMITH and staff for making me part of your family and for making me so much moneysixpackbill Thanks this. -
I am glad TE Smith Made you so much Money because since July 2013 he stopped paying people... suppliers, local parts stores are about to write-off 5000 and more dollars, x employee's leaving with no pay, truck repair shops have all cut him off, Drivers have to call in to see if their fuel cards will work. I can tell you lots of tires owed for, The almighty Terry is still the big wheel, a box seat at the Budwieser Gardens and imagine a new home built in the SC on a golf course, at the same time employees are leaving because of back pay and drivers are stuck with broke down equipment waiting for a credit card that works... then the next generation Nate Smith cuts the dump truck rates so low with his wore out old Macks (good tires though) that nobody else will do the work.,,, run from this Family company as fast as you can...

Personally, the good on TE Smith in this thread is a bunch of BS posted by the one and only Nathan Smith. He doesn't like to look bad! He didn't expand into the US. Him and the liars can't get anyone in Ontario to work for them. In turn he's making real Canadian trucking companies look like they can't be trusted. Shame on the Smith family. The company will nickel and dime you to death. I can say I have made a lot of bad decisions in life. The worst was working for them. For what it's worth, do your homework. There is very much truth behind the negativity on this thread. They are a straight truck expedite company. They may have been good at that, but tractor trailer owner operators beware!

And... 2.5 years later the owner shows up offering nothing. Just makes the company name be known again. Sometime not digging up something is the wiser move.

They owed my owner for 3 unpaid trips, we left.
