I should have seen the warning signs upfront.
They make a lot of verbal promisses, but the contract takes it all.
I was given a dallas houston lane that turned into a houston, waco, dallas turn.
460 loaded miles and 200 empty.2 to 8 hours waiting on a load.
only 3 trips a week. after 5 weeks of LIES was enough.
    Their dispatch is terrible.
They expect you to clean and repair their trailers on your time.
They nickle and dime your check.
Fuel surcharge is 15% of load.

    Example:
    Pasadena to Waco;200 miles
    Rate: Total $475
    Gross: $403.75 o/o = 70%
    Fuel: $71.25 0/0 =100%
    o/o gross = 353.87
    Trailer & terminal fee 5% = (17.69)
    O/O net 336.18 or 1.68 loaded mile
Then dead head 90 miles to dallas.
    O/O net 1.16 total miles
    My advice is stay CLEAR....

I bet the load coming back down to Houston was $600+ though... Based on that, the O/O net is $1.50/mile for all miles. Not bad in my opinion. Can you not make money at $1.50 NET per mile (all miles)?

I have worked at Bee Line for about a year, there is always something to do. I am happy here for the first time, in a long time. I get to see my family, I can have my 34hour down time at home.
I can see my wife through the week, I work hard and keep a nest egg for expenses that are GOING to happen. I really like the people there, they have a few new people now and everyone is great.

Maybe you should try working for some of these other larger companies who charged me $55 a day, even if I was at home on the weekend and not running.
I am an OO and I make good money at B Line. I plan on staying there. If the contract was that bad why did you go through with signing on? I signed the same
contract, dude you need to try some of the places I have worked. They ran me 150 to 200 miles deadhead and I didn't get paid for it, the fuel money came out of my
pocket and then they would have me a run that barely paid a $.80 a mile.
