KLLM/Knight

yes I agree about KLLM being bad when my husband worked for them last year he wasnt getting the miles he was hopeing for, so he asked to be transferd to otr, well he didnt get any where he sat for days at the yard asking daily for a run, well he was told that it was first come first served, finally he got one a short one at that then he decides to come home hes had enough he tells them he needs to get home several times and they wouldnt let it happen, so my husband just came home called them up told them what his plan was and that he was on his way to return the truck to them. They wouldnt have it they said no u sit still we have some one comeing after the truck. so I jumped in the car and followed him all the way to Jackson Miss 8 hours we finally get there and he was very smart to record his return on his phone, turns out KLLM still put abandment on his dac now we have to try to figure out how to get the video off his phone to send it in to get it off of his record. Hes back with Knight Referigerated and doing fair cant say well just fair until he sees a chance to get some where better is yet to be seen.

Theft, Knight has had several trucks stolen in both areas over the last few years.

Hey customtanks which company are you talking about? Knight or KLLM? right now my husband is with knight and he is miserable as for loads a newbee can do very well for the first few months then it goes down hill from there. They only give the long loads to the new drivers then it gets bad after that. Its not that they dont have loads its that they are giveing them to the new drivers first to show that they can make money after all. After a few months it starts all over again.

Most trucks I see ripping down the road at 90 mph cutting off everyone else are probably not newbies, there in the gov truck at 60 mph.

I couldn't agree more. It's just that way in this industry, and I'd bet, many others. The old timers who are good drivers are rarely trainers. A lot of guys just want to blame the new guys for everything wrong with the industry and I have had more problems with O/Os who want to drive 60 until I try to pass them in a company truck and then they gun it up to 70 because they're driving with their $%#@s and not their brains.
