Ok folks let me give you a real run down on SRT. First if you sign on you better be prepared to feel your signing your life away, they have more paperwork signing your rights away than a lawyer would give ya. Orientation is 4 days long that you dont get paid for! All the trucks are keyed the same so forget about securing your truck. Solo miles are great but forget about running as a team for company policy is 550 miles per day TOTAL is concidered team miles. Running as a team with my wife has about broke us so were fixing to be heading off to find someone that knows how to run a team. Just be prepared to do a lot of sitting. If you leave your truck on the yard while you take home time, they will put someone else in it while you are gone. So make sure you take everything out. They spent alot of money on that new yard and wash-bay but yet all the use it for is to wet the dirt on your truck and concider it clean. Good company for these new breed wannabie truckers but bad for experienced drivers. Watch your back if you choose to work for them.

:biggrin_2552: Like a fool, I let them talk me into coming back. Lasted 2 weeks. Fortunately, I hadn't quit my other job, was using vacation time.

ANY company that thinks 800 miles in 5 days for a solo driver is good money, is smokin crak...or something worse.

They keep calling me but not sure:biggrin_2559: I told the recruiter on the phone I like to run run about 3500 miles or more aweek. but she didnt seem to concern about that. But told her about my two speeding tickets in 2004 one seventeen over and other eighteen over she didnt care I could still work for them.

Smoke and mirrors bro. Don't bite. No way in **** they will give you even close to those miles.

I was promised a bonus for returning ($1000) they found an excuse to "not" pay it, before the end of orientation.

i Have 13 Years Experence Driving Tractor Trailer Alot Of It With Small Regional Companies So Srt Tells Me They Only Consider 48 States As Over The Road Experence And Gave Me 1.5 Years 32cpm
also Fired Me After One Week Because They Found Some Background History I Failed To Put On My Application.
if You Go To Srt Make Sure You Bring Proof Of What You Have Been Doing To The Day For The Past 10 Years . They Check And Check And Keep Checking For 6 Months After You Are Hired So They Have A Reason Eather To Fire You Or Pay You Less They Will Look At Your Life Under A Microscope.
they Are Starting To Put Video Cameras In There Trucks Looking Out And Looking In On You .
if They Fire You They Wiil Bring You Back Texarkana Ar They Wont Tell You Anything Intell You Get There Pay For You To Get Home But All Your Stuff You Must Pay. They Go Way Past D.O.T Requierments On Background Checks I Think They Sell This Information To Other Companies, Because You Sighn Away All Your Rights On Discloser Information.
they Will Smile In Your Face And Tell You That The Drive Is The Most Inportant Part Of There Company That Because They Will Do Everything They Can To Make Money From You Or On You, Your Just Equipment A Tool To Be Used.
AND THE BACKGROUND INFO THEY FOUND WAS A SEALED RECORD NOT PUBLIC KNOWLEDG. THEY MUST HAVE SPENT ALOT OF MONEY TO DO THAT SO IF YOU ARE GOING TO S.R.T BE READY TO OPEN YOUR LIFE LIKE A BOOK NOT ONLY TO THE COMPANY BUT EVERYONE THERE
    DO NOT TRUST THEM

If this is true, you now have reason to sue someone. Not SRT, but the people who managed to get that sealed record opened, and anyone who assisted them.

Here's the truth in a nutshell...SRT tells you what you want tohere...they paint a pretty picuture but once they turn you lose its nothing like what they tell you. I stayed withthem a couple of months...was not getting anymiles and you can forget getting home ont ime...they are to big of a company it is non personell. its a shame because i head they were once a good compay but then they got to big...once they get you out of orientation then you are forgotten about. no accountabity...dispatchers dont do anything to try to get home when you need it and managment dont care...SRT: they tell you what you want to here but you are forgoten. i was told to call retention mrg when i had a problem...left voice mails and he never called back...i left/ 400 miles over the weekend from friday to monday and then sitting and also they say no force disptach that is a lie...the truth is: SRT does not care. they are to big to care. avoid them.
