I Got screwed over by Stevens Transport, who added a bunch of crap to my DAC after I left and refused to return. I now have several preventable accidents on my work history. OOIDA underwriters would not bind me. They said need to get high risk liability insurance for my truck. Are there any insurance companies that will insure high risk? Thanks appreciate any info, no crap please no time for that. I have to get my truck on the road. Thx

What insurance company is pulling your DAC? Are these things on your MVR? That and credit are what Moody insurance companies look at.

If the Dac issues are not correct, then challenge them with Hireright.

Reread the OP's post. Nowhere in the post did he say the accidents did not happen.

Therein lies the question. The OP said that Stevens left "crap" on his record, which would be the several preventable accidents. If he feels they were unjustly ruled preventable he should fight that ruling. If they weren't and the OP simply has a habit of hitting things, then maybe trucking is not the ideal occupation.

I appreciate the advice. It was OOIDA that checked my employment record and that is where the incidents came up from Stevens. No the accidents are not on my MVR and they were not DOT Recordable. I made it clear that if you had nothing productive to say regarding the question I ask, then I request you keep your opinions to yourself. For everyone information I am fighting the information on my DAC and as I said they incidents were not accidents I reported a broken bumper to the company an it was ruled non preventable. They had me tape the bumper up and continue running there loads across America. It was during the summer and I do not know of any tape tthat will hold in 100 degree weather. I reported it everythime the darn thing dropped off or got caught because it had come loose and the Safety at Stevens reported each call as a separate preventable accident. I hope I made things clear.

Now let me make something clear. This is a public forum, you don't get to set the rules. As long as someone is posting within the rules of the site they can comment on any thread they want to.

Depending on the details, damaging your own vehicles bumper can definitely be a preventable accident. It does suck that each time you called they recorded as a new accident. I think contacting a lawyer is in order for you right now.

OOIDA, once again standing up for the American trucker...just plain sad. Am I the only one that finds that an insurance company that calls itself an advocate for the driver is an oxymoron?
