I have one of those old Cypress rat traps near my rig when I am home. One of their drivers lives near me. Many of the drivers in my area park at the same safe place. We all see the condition of his rig and wonder why he still drives there.

I know a driver in Alabama who reported a company 2 years ago. Your name does not have to be reported to the offending company. Smart companies know if a bad company DAC's you, it's probably a garbage complaint.

I love the posts blasting posters with negative experiences at Cypress and claiming Cypress is a great company and their equipment is not as bad as claimed. There are outnumbering posts supporting the negative! Sounds like recruiters or management has created profiles so they can make these posters look like liars! Just my opinion. I live in Jacksonville, FL and my Husband is looking to go back over the road but it certainly would never be with Cypress!

We need millions of people like the one who created this thread to flood the trucking industry. All the morally corrupt greedy morons that run these rattle trap trucking companies would be out of business overnight.

    I love posts like these.

Have you ever talked to a Cypress Driver? I have talked to plenty of them when I was in Flatbed OTR. Most loved it, the ones who didn't it was because they didn't like doing flatbed.

People can complain about the equipment but why does a company using older trucks drive you away? As long as it's maintained right, ain't nothin wrong with having an old truck.

I'd take an old truck over these emission trucks we have at my company. The trailers are a different story lol

    Edit:
Also, if I was an owner and hired a rookie, I wouldn't put them in a new truck. If they're experienced then maybe, but a rookie with less than a year of experience, I wouldn't put in a truck thats brand new.

I currently work here and nothing has changed except pay went up to $11 to tarp and the oldest trucks we have now are 1995. Other than that nothing else has changed. They still suck. Oh and the tarps have got heavier too.
