I WOULDN'T DO IT AGAIN! Rush Peterbilt in Laredo Tx. has had my truck in their body shop since April. They had to do a cap swap on my truck due to an accident. Cab arrives at their shop in about a month. They told me the work should be done in about 60 to 90 days from April. My truck is still in the shop and they will not give me a finish date. Lies after lies on finish date. They tell me one date then they change it. Meanwhile, I'm still paying a truck note every month. Insurance companies only give you so many days down time pay and that was over with 90 days ago. It's been 120 day without my truck. The manager said 90 days at the most if they couldn't find a cab & about 60 days if they did find a cab. Well they did find the cab and still no work being done on my truck. They keep coming up with more and more excuses on why the truck isn't done. Things like " The truck has been around a lot of salt so we have to work around the rust on the frame/ the APU is a lot more work than what we thought/ one of my guys is out sick/ Hey, we don't wreck them, we just repair them/ and still no finish date on the repairs. 60 days went to 120 days and still counting. This is a hard thing for an O/O to deal with. They have cost me thousands of dollars in downtime. This type of work should not take more than 60 days if they have the parts and insurance company gave the OK to do the work, which they did. Overall I'm not happy with the way they are handling my situation with my truck repairs. I don't recommend this body shop to any of you guys/ 4 months is way too long for a truck to be in the shop for a cab swap repair job. Rush Peterbilt should be embarrassed to have a body shop crew like the staff down in Laredo Texas. I have been a PROUD Rush Peterbilt Owner and Supporter for years, spent thousands of dollars behind this brand for years, but I won't do it again. What a big let down. Good luck Guys///
